The Government of the Republic of Ghana and the African Union Commission are organizing an international colloquium from 23rd - 25th May, 2010 in Accra, Ghana. The colloquium is intended to provide a platform for scholars and eminent personalities, including the contemporaries of Dr. Nkrumah and Pan-Africanists, to pay tribute to him, as well as discuss his legacy and linkage with the contemporary debate and actions relating to our continental integration.
The Diaspora African Forum published a colorful guide in 2009 to help you find your way, and enjoy your stay in Ghana. We hope the attractions of Ghana's eight regions -- the restaurants, the pageantry, the customs -- will entice you to visit and learn more about your role in Africa's development.
The colorful Diaspora African Forum Ghana Travel Guide is available at the DAF kiosk when you enter the Katoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana. You will also see the Guide on many straight flights to Accra when you travel on Delta Airlines. If you would like to purchase a guide in anticipation of your trip, please email email@example.com with your request. There is a small fee for the guide plus the cost of shipping and handling. The fee will supplement the food expense of the Ashanti Orphanage, in Kumasi, Ghana.
